A COLLECTION OF ENGINEERING PROJECTS

Projects.

Projects I've built, technical problems I've explored, and software systems I've developed. Each project applies engineering concepts, experiments with technologies, and turns ideas into working implementations.

COMPLETED

UAV Area Coverage Planning

A completed master's thesis project focused on mission definition and coverage path planning for unmanned aerial vehicles. The ROS 2 application allows users to define polygonal areas on a map and generate coverage paths using OpenNav Coverage and Fields2Cover. A custom Spanning Tree Coverage (STC) implementation provides an additional planning approach for comparison and validation. The project explores ROS 2 application development, integration of coverage-planning components, and the generation of reference paths for downstream UAV systems.

COMPLETED

F1 Race Strategy ML

A modular Python project that combines Formula 1 race simulation with machine-learning-assisted strategy evaluation and optimisation. The simulator models tire degradation, multiple stints, pit stops, fuel consumption, and race conditions. It supports automatic strategy generation and evaluates candidate strategies using deterministic optimisation and ML-assisted, race-condition-aware selection. A synthetic dataset and feature-engineering pipeline support regression models that estimate race-related outcomes for strategy evaluation.

ALWAYS BUILDING

Every project starts with curiosity.

From autonomous robotics to machine-learning-assisted simulation, this collection reflects my interest in building software that combines engineering principles, algorithms, and practical experimentation.
